Preamble

Auto Escape Company is independent of all vehicle hire companies. Auto Escape is a worldwide vehicle hire agency. Auto Escape offers vehicle hire in the UK and in many other countries, at particularly attractive rates. Auto Escape has obtained preferential conditions with selected vehicle hire worldwide companies, thus obtaining a favourable relationship with them.

Auto Escape is located in Wilberforce House, Station Road, London NW4 4QE, UK.


Article 1 – Conditions of vehicle rental reservation

To make a vehicle hire reservation with Auto Escape, the customer must supply the following information :

.  Pick-up point of vehicle (country and town).

.  Date and time of start of rental.

.  Drop-off point of vehicle (country and town).

.  Drop-off date and time..

.  Category or type of vehicle hired (or similar).

.  Name and first name(s) of the main driver who must hold an international credit card in his / her own name.

.  Age of driver.

For motorhomes, motocaravans or camper vans : the number of adult passengers and the number and age of child passengers. Some rental partners of Auto Escape allow the vehicle to be returned in a different town and /or a country from that where the vehicle was originally collected. In this case, a supplement, called drop-off fees will be charged, either when the reservation is made, or directly on the spot by the rental partner. Information on drop-off fees will be given on making a reservation and on the rental voucher from Auto Escape.

The sales contract shall start only after Auto Escape has accepted the customer’s buying intention and after the hire company has confirmed to Auto Escape the vehicle availability.

When Auto Escape is sure that the vehicle is available, your reservation request will be accepted immediately and you will be given a file number.
Auto Escape then issues a rental voucher repeating reservation information i. e. :

.  File number.

.  Name and location of the vehicle hire company agency (ies).

.  Type of vehicle (category chosen).

. Services included in the price, particularly unlimited mileage (except if otherwise stated in the rental company’s specific conditions), re-purchase incurance or excess reduction (CDW), theft insurance for the vehicle (tp) with excess, and local taxes.

.  The options taken out with Auto Escape to be paid on reservation (reimbursement of excess, options and various accessories in connection with motorhome rental etc…).

.  The options taken out and to be paid on the spot to the hire agency when the vehicle is collected (options and various accessories in connection with motorhome hire).

.  Auto Escape sends out a bill for all confirmed reservations, the hire voucher is only issued after complete pre-payment of the rental services. In the case of car rental, if any payment problem arises which prevents normal collection of the sum owed by the customer, Auto Escape is entitled to cancel the reservation with the rental agency without notice or compensation.
When renting a motorhome, please read paragraph 7.2 of Article 7 concerning cancellation conditions.
It is particularly stipulated that you can only pick-up your hired vehicle on presentation of the hire voucher, your driving licence and an international credit card in the driver’s name.
This hire is personal, non transmissible and agreed upon for a pre-determined period.

Article 2 – Hire Conditions

2.1 Generalities

The customers and drivers authorized by the rental agency and designated when the reservation was made with Auto Escape, must present to the rental agency a valid identity card or passport, together with a valid driving licence which is accepted in the country concerned. The cusomer and designated driver are responsible to the rental agency for the complete carrying out of these conditions and those indicated on the rental voucher.

Minimum age for a rental may vary according to the vehicle, model, and country (see rental conditions by country). Certain countries are more restrictive and may have a maximum age limit. Please check on this when you reserve.

Drivers aged between 18 and 25 must sometimes pay “young driver” fees, payable to the rental agency or included in a contract. These fees vary according to the country and the rental agency partner.

Extra drivers must be listed in the contract when the vehicle is collected.

The hire is personal, non transmissible and agreed upon for a pre-determined period figuring on the rental voucher issued by Auto Escape.

The customer and designated drivers are responsible to the rental agency for the complete carrying out of these conditions and those indicated on the rental voucher.

To collect a vehicle from a rental agency, the customer must produce :

.  A valid driving licence (the original, photocopies are not accepted). Sometimes the rental agency requires a minimum period of possession of a driving licence (usually one year), also, for certain countries, an international driving licence is required (e.g. Australia and New Zealand).

.  A valid identity card or passport (the original, photocopies are not accepted).

.  An international credit card (sometimes two, for certain rental agencies), in the name(s) of the driver(s) (only with embossed numbers).

Please check all this information when you reserve.

Switch, Maestro, Delta and Electron cards are not accepted by the rental agencies.

If these documents are not presented to the rental agency on collection of the vehicle, the rental agency reserves the right not to carry out the rental. In this case, Auto Escape accepts no responsibility and will pay no compensation.
No repayment will be made if the customer is a “no show” for any reason whatsoever.

The rental customer and designated driver are responsible to the rental agency for the carrying out of these conditions and become completely responsible for the vehicle from collection onwards. If the rental customer does not respect the rental conditions, the rental agency reserves the right to put an immediate lawful end to the rental and refuse to place the vehicle at disposition without either the rental agency or Auto Escape being obliged to repay the rental and / or pay any compensation.

2.2 Specific Hire Conditions for motorhomes

(By motorhomes, it is also meant motorcaravans or camper vans)

a) Hire period

The Hire period begins when the customer collects the motorhome and ends when the rental agency accepts the return of the motorhome. The first day of rental corresponds to the day of collection of the motorhome, whatever the time. Likewise, the last day of rental corresponds to the day the motorhome is handed back, whatever the time.

Furthermore, if the customer decides, of his own, to start the rental later than stated, or to end it earlier, no repayment can be claimed. Likewise, for any unauthorized delay, in handing back the motorhome, the client will be penalised according to the specific conditions of each rental agency, mentioned in the customer’s rental contract.

b) Use of motorhome
The customer is to use the motorhome for personal requirements and at his own risks. He must be as careful as if it were his own motorhome. Particularly, he must ensure the motorhome is always closed when parked. Furthermore, the following uses of the motorhome are totally forbidden:


.  To grant use of it for valuable considerations or for pecuniary gain (sale, sub-letting).

.  To use it for immoral, illegal or illicit purposes.

.  The transport of paying passengers.

.  To take part in games, races, rallies or any other type of competition, or tests or preparations for such.

.  To overload the motorhome by transporting a number of passengers above that indicated on the motorhome document.

.  To attach a trailer or similar motorhome or modify in any way the motorhome other than the option supplied by the rental agency.

.  To transport goods or objects forbidden by law in the country where the rental takes place.

.  To hide or remove the name or sign of the rental company.

.  To carry luggage on the roof of the motorhome.

.  To give driving lessons.

c) The motorhome
The motorhome is handed over to the customer in perfect working order and with no body damage, together with the accessories included in the price (see rental voucher). Before accepting the motorhome, the customer will carry out an inspection and inventory with the rental agency. The vehicle is to be handed back in the same condition, if not, the customer will pay a sum corresponding to the cost of repairs and refurbishment with maximum limit being the excess sum per accident. The franchise will be specified in the customer’s rental contract. Furthermore, the motorhome must be handed back in good hygienic condition: the interior to be clean, the WC and waste water tanks to be correctly emptied. If not, the client must pay a fixed sum owed to the rental agency for cleaning (each rental agency has its own rate which figures on the client’s rental contract).

The rental agency reserves the right to change the motorhome model reserved, right up to the day of its collection, to replace it by another model in the same category, or by a model in a superior category. Moreover, if on collection of the motorhome, the client wishes to change for a model from a lower category to that he has reserved and pre-paid, no repayment or compensation will be made. Likewise, reservations correspond to a category of motorhome and in no case can the client insist on a specific model or make of motorhome.

The illustrations, photos, texts and descriptions available on our web site show a category of motorhome. For these reasons, changes may occur due to replacements of motorhomes made by the rental agency and / or the maker.

d) Animals
Depending on rental agencies and countries, animals may or may not be accepted in rented motorhomes. Therefore, please inform us when you make a reservation.

e) Fuel Oil Gas
The customer must carry out normal repairs and / or maintenance e.g. :

.  Checking oil, water and cooling liquid levels.

. Motor oil changing to be carried out at prescribed mileage, see information from agency.

. Lubrification (including gear box and axle).

.  Tyre pressure.

Proof of the above to be given by corresponding invoices, indicating the mileage when the work took place. Cost of repairs authorized by the rental agency will only be reimbursed on presentation of invoices and in the conditions specified by the agency in the hire contract.

The rental agency must inform the client of the type of fuel appropriate to the rented motorhome. The client is to hand back the motorhome with the same amount of fuel as on collection, fuel being entirely at his expense.

f) Maintenance and Repairs
The customer must maintain the motorhome and its equipment in good condition during the entire rental period. If damage takes place or if repairs are needed, the clustomer must immediately inform the rental agency.

Normal engine wear is the responsibility of the rental agency. Any and all repairs arising from undue engine wear, or from client’s negligence will be at his / her expense. If the motorhome is damaged and / or immobilised, the client must inform the rental agency within 24 hours.

The rental agency must have access to the motorhome if repairs are to be made.

Article 3 – Rates

Services are to be paid in advance on reservation, either by our securised online payment system, or by telephone with one of our reservation staff.

Auto Escape regularly updates its rates and may modify them without notice. In order to take into account the rates accorded by Auto Escapes’ various partners and the exchange rate, rates may be modified. The applicable price is thus that given by Auto Escape when the reservation is made and which figures on the invoice. Once payment has been made, the rental price of the vehicle is firm and guaranteed and will not be modifiable by Auto Escape or by the client, even if the exchange rate fluctuates. Furthermore, after the rental has been entirely paid, the customer cannot request a modification of the price paid in the case of Special Offers made by Auto Escape, after said payment by customer.

The client must judge, before departure, if the price of the services offered and listed on the invoice are acceptable to him / her. No contestation of the rental price of the vehicle can be considered when the client returns. Our prices are contractual rates negotiated with the various companies. Therefore, they do not include Special Offers which may be made by various companies at certain dates. No complaints or requests for repayment can be considered on this subject.

Prices are fixed differently according to the type of vehicle. Thus, for car rental, the price is fixed per 24 hour periods, while for motorhome rental, each day begun is owed whatever the time.

The prices include:

.  A fixed price for a number of days with unlimited mileage. However, for motorhomes,
   mileage varies according to the rental agency and country. It can be limited, unlimited or
   not included in the price.(The client must inform the rental agency if the mileage recorder
   does not work or has been damaged in any way).

.  Compulsory insurance: third party / civil responsibility.

.  Supplementary insurance: collision damage waiver and theft protection with excess.

.  Local taxes (VAT) with exceptions: contact us.

.  For certain countries, PAI insurance (medical expenses and legal assistance for driver and passengers).

.  Participation in registration costs.

.  Certain options specific to motorhome rental.

.  No cost cancellation before vehicle collection - Except Cuba.

Rates do not include :

.  Fuel (except certain available offer, particularly in the U.S.A.).

.  In certain countries, optional PAI insurance.

.  Optional insurance for theft of personal effects.

.  Options (child-seat, roof-rack, ski-rack…), to be mentioned on reservation but cannot be confirmed on reservation, except for options concerning motorhomes.

.  Airport taxes (certain exceptions).

.  Drop-off expenses fees a vehicle collected in one town and handed back in another (certain exceptions).

.  Extra “young driver(s)” fees to be paid on collection.

.  Cost in certain countries for collection and handing back of vehicle outside office hours, as well as weekends and national holidays.

.  The deposit is to be made by international credit card in the name of the principal driver (compulsory in most countries), whatever supplementary insurance you have taken out.
   In no case, can the deposit be used to prolong the rental. This deposit to be made by credit card and will charged in local currency. Thus, the returned deposit may not be identical to that charged due to fluctuation in the exchange rate. The rental agency will accept no complaints on such variations in the amount charged, whether it be an increase or a devaluation. Also, for any payment by credit card in local currency, bank costs may be charged. These are never the responsibility of the rental agency.

.  Damage to windscreen or any plate glass, tyres, roof  (cab-over bed for motorhomes), under body / lower body and interior of vehicle, optical (head lights, indicators …), rear mirrors, towing bars, (except as specifically mentioned in the general rental conditions of the rental agency).

.  Non respect of schedules incurring a penalty fixed by the rental agency, the sum as mentioned in the rental contract.

.  The excess debited by the rental agency in case of accident or damage to vehicle, with or without known third party, even if you have taken out the reimbursement of excess option.

.  All fines and other breaches of police regulations: the customer remains solely responsible for fines, breaches of police regulations and police reports concerning him / her and also for any Customs proceedings. If a customer does not pay fines incurred during his stay, the rental agency has the right to demand payment of said fines and to charge consequent expenses to the client.

The above must be paid directly to the rental agency.

.  Specific to vehicle rental in the U.S.A. :

Insurance liability cover (old name SLI) brings third party insurance up to 1 million US dollars and covers none- insured drivers up to 100 000 £.
The “gold” option also includes a full petrol tank and 3 supplementary drivers.

Article 4 – Insurance and Damage Declaration

Rentals are made with all insurance included, except for certain destinations, ( see general rental conditions of rental agency concerned).
Any accident, damage or theft of the rented vehicle must be declared directly to the rental agency within:

-  2 working days for a car hire.

-  24 hours for a motorhome hire.

An amicable declaration form must be filled out and attached to the declaration. You must also obtain a police report on the accident; if this is not possible, you must go to the nearest police station to obtain one.

You must lodge a complaint in case of theft:

- Within 48 hours of establishment of theft for a car hire.

- Within 24 hours of establishment of theft for a motorhome hire.

Non respect of these formalities by the rental client will incur the loss of complementary protection, unless he / she can prove he / she was unable to do so.

4.I     Various Types of Insurance

a) Collision Damage Waiver Insurance

This insurance covers the vehicle in case of damage, responsible or not. This is included in our rates with the insurance excess. The excess is applicable when an accident happens, whether it is the customer’s fault or not. The amount of excess applicable to your rental contract will figure on your rental voucher.

Please take note, CDW insurance does not cover possible damages such as : broken windscreens and plate glass (cab-over beds for motorhomes), tyres,damages of interior equipments of the vehicle, including electric domestic appliances in the case of motorhomes.

b) Theft Protection Insurance (TP)
It concerns theft of the vehicle. It is included, with an insurance excess. In general, it is the same excess as the one applicable for the CDW insurance. Please note, TP insurance does not cover the theft of objects inside the vehicle.

c) Civil Responsibility
This insurance covers the driver if he hurts a person or if he breaks material goods. It is always included in our rental rates. The upper limit will figure in your rental contract and will correspond to the laws of the country where rental takes place.

d) 24 / 24 Assistance
The rental contract issued by the rental agency includes, whatever the rental agency or country, a 24 / 24 hour assistance system. How the system works varies, depending on the rental agencies and countries. For these reasons, we advise you to request information, first from Auto Escape, when you reserve, and later, from the rental agency when you collect the vehicle.

e) Personal Insurance
The personal effects of the client and accompanying passenger are not covered by our insurance. For this reason, we strongly recommend you take out travel insurance of your own.

In all cases, and whatever insurance is taken out, the client must drive the vehicle without taking any risks i.e. must not drive under the influence of drink or any illicit substance, and must obey the Highway Code and speed limits imposed in the country concerned or sometimes imposed by the rental agency.

4.2 Repayable or No Franchise Option

1. PURPOSE OF INSURANCE – SUBSCRIBER AND INSURED PARTY
AUTO ESCAPE has taken out a special policy with Allianz Insurances on behalf of the contracting party in a vehicle rental contract in United-Kingdom and abroad.

The object of the said insurance is, in case of material damage to the rented vehicle, following a collision where the client using the vehicle has been declared 100 % responsible, or in case of theft, to cover the amount of the excess stipulated in the rental contract.

The Subscriber:
Auto Escape Company acting on its own behalf and that of the persons concerned, and in particular of clients hiring vehicles.

Insured Parties:
Insured parties means the subscriber and clients renting vehicles.

2. OBLIGATIONS OF SUBSCRIBER AND INSURED PARTY
1) The subscriber undertakes to inform the insured party of all the obligations which are demurrable to the customers.

2) To benefit from this guarantee, the insured party and / or the driver of the vehicle must:
.  Conform to the driving rules imposed by the rental agency and the law or local jurisdiction.
.  Drive the hired vehicle in conformity with the clauses of the rental contract signed with the rental agency.
.  Have hired the vehicle from a professional rental agency, i.e. a rental contract must have been regularly drawn up.

3)  EXCLUSIONS COMMON TO ALL GUARANTEES:
Other than the specific exclusions figuring in the General Conditions, the Insurer never insures against the consequences of the following circumstances and events.

.  War or civil war, riots, popular uprisings, strikes, the taking of hostages, handling fire arms.
.  Your voluntary participation in bets, crimes or affrays, except for legitimate self-defence.
.  All nuclear effects or those caused by any source of ionising rays.
.  Your intentional actions and dolose errors, including suicide and suicide attempts.
.  Your consumption of alcohol, drugs or any narcotics listed in the Public Health Code,
   without a medical prescription.

Article 5 – Best Price Guarantee and Payback of Difference

In the case of car rental :
Auto Escape undertakes to repay the difference if you find a cheaper rate elsewhere, and this, not later than 2 days before collection of vehicle, on presentation of a document in proof (e.g. a screen print- out for an Internet offer, or a copy of a brochure).

This guarantee functions if you have already reserved and pre-paid your car rental with Auto Escape.

The comparative offer must concern the same category of vehicle, the same rental period, the same town or airport for collection, the same services included in the price (particularly unlimited mileage, insurance, taxes, supplements and options).

This guarantee applies to all current reservations, excluding Special Offers from Auto Escape.

Article 6 – Prolongation of hire period

The rental client must request the prolongation of the rental period to the rental agency, at least 72 hours in advance, said request being accompanied by the payment of the corresponding sum, under penalty of legal proceedings for misappropriation of the vehicle and breach of trust.
However, the rental agency reserves the right to refuse prolongation of the rental period, without compensation for the rental client, with obligation for the latter to hand back the vehicle immediately.

Prolongation is contracted directly with the rental agency. Thus, the price of such is that of the current public price applied by the rental agency.

We hereby inform you that in the case of car rental in the U.S.A., extra costs above those of rental prolongation will be imposed by our rental partner. Said costs being approximately
10.99 US dollars per extra day of rental.

Article 7 – Cancellation and Failure to Collect a Vehicle
7.1 For tourism vehicle rental, except motorhomes:


At any time, you can cancel your vehicle rental with Auto Escape, without reason or document in proof. To be validated, any cancellation request must be in writing (E-mail, fax, mail). Auto Escape imposes no cost for cancellation before the date and time of collection - Except Cuba.

In case of no show at the collection time and place, or non presentation of the rental voucher or driving licence, or international credit card, costs equivalent to 100 % of the rental charge will be applicable.

Please note, in the case of vehicle collection at an airport, we hereby inform you that no repayment will be made if you have not been able to collect the vehicle, due to an error on your part concerning air transport information, particularly the flight number, the flight time or the name of the airport, or if the flight is cancelled by the air line or the airport authorities. In the latter case, we strongly recommend you to institute proceedings against the air line.

Furthermore, only the services chosen and figuring on the rental voucher from Auto Escape can benefit from any repayment. Services chosen directly with the rental agency cannot be re-imbursed or contested with Auto Escape.

7.2 For motorhome hires :
Our motorhome rates include cancellation insurance. This insurance allows you, in case of reservation cancellation, (or interruption of rental) to receive reibursment of the costs incurred. You will be reimbursed only if one of the events listed below and guaranteed occur :

However, if you wish to cancel but cannot claim on you cancellation insurance, you will incur the following cancellation costs :

.  Cancellation notified between 90 days and 61 days before departure: less 10% of total rental fee.

.  Cancellation notified between 60 days and 31 days before departure: less 50 % of total rental fee.

.  Cancellation notified between 30 days before departure and departure date (no show)
100 % of the rental fee will be retained.

7.2.1 EVENTS GUARANTEED BY CANCELLATION INSURANCE :
(i) Amount covered : per contingency and per event up to 8000 €.

(ii) Basic guarantee
Covering only :
a)  The following events :
- Death
- Serious accidents
(by serious accident, we mean bodily injury with no intention on the part of the victim, arising from a sudden action with an external cause and preventing moving around by victim’s own resources).
- Sudden serious illness (by serious illness, we mean a health change established by competent medical authority, confining the person to his / her  room and involving the halting of all professional activity or other).

Concerning:
Yourself, your legal or other spouse, your parents or children.
Your brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, sons in law, daughters in law, fathers in law, or mothers in law.

b)  Damage following a fire, an explosion, a theft, water damage or natural event involving your professional premises or home, absolutely necessitating your presence where damage took place.

c)  Theft or loss of your identity papers taking place less than 72 hours before departure, thus making your intended stay abroad impossible.

(iii) Optional guarantee extension:
Only if it figures in your specific conditions and on the express reservation that you were not aware of such on the date of this contract, the guarantee is extended :
a) To the following events:
.  Access being forbidden to the foreign territory where your stay was to take place, or foreign
   territories you need to cross to reach the place of your stay, as decreed by a competent
   International Authority.
.  Access to your place of stay by road, rail, air, sea, on the first day and three following, of your stay being rendered impossible by:

               - Road blocks, strikes.
               - Totally forbidden access to within a radius of 5 kilometres around your place of stay, as decreed by the competent Authorities, following pollution, forest fire, floods, natural catastrophes, epidemic.

A letter fixing an appointment or administrative or professional event, limited to those figuring below:
.  The obtaining of a new job or training period if you are classed as jobless.
.  Presence necessary as a witness or jury member at the Assize Court.
.  Presence necessary for a school, university or professional examination.
.  Presence necessary for a military period.
.  Change of job location imposed by your employer and not requested by you.

. Delaying by your employer of the paid holiday period which you had requested and he had accepted before the day you made your reservation.

.  Dismissal for economic reasons as defined in current legal texts.

b)  Cancellation of reservation ( or trip or rental interrupted) by you, due to the defection of an insured person (other than those listed in the basic guarantee) accompanying you and listed in your specific conditions, following an event covered by your insurance, you benefit from this extension.

7.2.2. EXCLUSIONS : EVENTS NOT COVERED BY CANCELLATION INSURANCE

(i) General exclusions
The consequences of the following circumstances and events are never covered :
.  War or civil war, riots, popular uprisings, the taking of hostages, handling fire arms.
.  Your voluntary participation in bets, crimes or affrays, except for legitimate defence.
.  All nuclear effects or those caused by any source of ionising rays.
.  Your intentional actions and dolose errors, including suicide and suicide attempts.
.  Your consumption of alcohol, drugs or any narcotics listed in the Public Health Code, without a medical prescription.

(ii) Specific Exclusions
In addition to the exclusions listed in Article 3 of your General conditions (Article 6 - § 3 conditions in case of damage), cancellations resulting from the following are excluded :

a)  Death, serious accident, damage to premises, which took place before contract was effective.
b)  Relapse due to an illness or accident previously established and which occurred in the three months before contract was effective.
c)  Illness or accident resulting from sport practised at competition level, whether during a match, a competition or training.
d)  Sudden serious illness in the case of persons over 75 ,
except otherwise stated in your specific conditions.
e)  Virus epidemic, with no known vaccine or treatment.
f)  Pregnancy previous to date on which contract was effective, miscarriage, births, and their consequences, and in all cases, pregnancies of over three months.
g)  When necessitated or imposed by travel or trip :
     a)  Faulty or impossible vaccination and consequences of such.
     b)  Faulty or impossible treatment.
h)  Alcoholism, use of medication, drugs or narcotics without a medical prescription and the consequences of such.
i)  Aesthetic, psychic or psycho-therapeutic treatment.
j)  Mental depression.
k)  Thermal cures or their consequences.
l)  A decision made by competent local or international authorities :
     a) Forbidding access to an area for residents and / or non residents, arising from a virus epidemic with no known vaccine or treatment, existing locally or in a country, area or town from which such person may arrive.
     b) Cancellation of an event or cancellation of administrative permission for the above reasons.
m)  Any event other than those specifically listed above in § 2.


7.2.3. WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF DAMAGE OR ACCIDENT
(i)  You must indicate in your declaration, or if this is impossible, in a later declaration made as soon as possible :
.  The date, place and circumstances of the insured contingency, its known or supposed causes.
.  In case of accident, the names and addresses of those who caused it (if known) and if possible, of any witnesses, also of the intervening Authorities.
.  In case of illness, its precise nature.
.  In all cases, the name of the attending doctor.

Please, send with the above declaration, a medical certificate indicating probable consequences, in particular length of temporary disablement period.

(ii)  Supply voluntarily, and within one month of your request for indemnisation, any information and proof documents, such as :
.  The contract document issued by the travel agency or rental agency at moment of registration.
.  Any official document establishing the seriousness of the contingency causing
   cancellation.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO :
.  Have a counter-visit made by our medical doctor expert.
.  Check up on the effective conditions of cancellation of the reservation.

Article 8 – Complaints
Any complaint must be made in writing to our quality service, within 2 months following the date of handing back the rented vehicle, to the following address:

Any request must be accompanied by a complete dossier, including particularly, a letter specifying your reasons for complaint, a copy of your order form, a copy of your rental contract and any other document involved.
Please note, in the case of vehicle collection at an airport, we hereby inform you that no re-payment will be made if you have not been able to collect the vehicle, due to an error on your part concerning air transport information, particularly, the flight number, the flight time or the name of the airport, or if the flight is cancelled by the airline or the airport authorities. In the latter case, we strongly recommend you to institute proceedings against the air line company.

If you decide to shorten your rental period, we will not repay the rental days not used.       

Article 9   -  Evidence
Information figuring on the Auto Escape web site may constitute proof of your orders and may be produced in the case of an eventual dispute. Computerized or electronic information conserved by Auto Escape constitutes acceptable and demurrable proof with the same probant value as any document drawn up, received or conserved in written form.

Article 10 – Applicable Law
Auto Escape is a European company. Consequently, your relations with Auto Escape France are ruled over by British law.
In case of contestation concerning the carrying out of a service by Auto Escape Company, power of jurisdiction is accorded to the Commercial Court of London.

Article 11 – Private Life Protection
Wishing to respect your private life and any information you may give, the Auto Escape web site conforms to current law concerning private life protection.

Amongst the information which we need to request from you, certain elements are obligatory (with an asterisk on the web site) as they are indispensable for dealing with your order, others are optional and are collected in order to allow more personalised treatment of your expectations.

Such information may be transmitted to our partners in dealing with your order.
